The flight to Paro crosses the Himalayan Mountains, affording spectacular views of the awesome peaks, including the sacred Jomolhari and Jichu Drake peaks in Bhutan, after the completion of check in formalities in airport. Guide and driver will escort to Thimphu. Depending on the time, the sightseeing includes - Folk Heritage museum, School of Art and crafts and Tashicho Dzong. Overnight in hotel.
Paro to Thimphu driving distance - 55 kms, Time - 1.2 hrs.
Altitude: 2400 m.
Thimphu sightseeing - Big Buddha, National memorial stupa. 108 stupas in Dochula pass, Himalayan mountain ranges on clear day.
Drive to Phobjikha and sightseeing - Gantey Gomba Monastery and Natural trail hike.

Thimphu to Phobjikha driving distance - 129 kms; Time - 4hrs.
Altitude - 3000 m.
Tshala hike, crane center. After lunch drive to Rameychen village and explore the village on foot and visit Rameychen Pry School and Tangchey Gompa.
This will be the most scenic drive, the English movie “Travellers and Magician” was shot along these highway. Visit Trongsa Dzong and tower of Trongsa museum.

Phobjikha to Trongsa distance 82 kms; Time 2.5 hrs.
Altitude - 2200M (ASL)
This is the least tourist frequented place. Kinga Rabten palace is the historic royal residence and the birth place of our 3rd King. 23kms from Trongsa along the Mandue Chhu offers a beautiful views of villages and valley.
Start early morning to Punakha and Visit temple of fertility, Punakha Dzong and suspension bridge.

Punakha Altitude - 1200M(ASL)
Morning drive to Paro. In Paro visit - Iron chain bridge, National museum, Rimpong Dzong, Wooden cantilever bridge and stroll in local market at leisure.
Punakha to Paro - 115kms, Time - 3.5 hrs.
Taktsang the tiger nest monastery is the most iconic and sacred Buddhist site in the World. It is dramatically perched on sheer cliff face, about 900 m above the Paro valley. It is one of the most beautiful hiking trail for its pristine forest and views.
Hiking distance ( round trip) approximately 6kms/3.7miles. Time 5 to 6 hrs including guided tour in monastery.
After hike, visit Drukgyel Dzong, 7th century temple, local market. Suggestion- hot stone bath in village.
Overnight same hotel.
Defending on your flight timing, drive to Airport. Your guide and driver will bid your farewell.
